Consulting and
Feasibility.
Make informed decisions.

Our consulting service assesses the feasibility of your AI video analytics project and gives you a reliable basis for investment decisions.

We assess your cameras and image data to determine what is technically possible and what effort is required. You receive a reasoned recommendation to implement, run a pilot or not proceed.

When is the examination worthwhile?

Are you planning a new use case, would you like to continue using existing cameras, or are you dissatisfied with the previous detection quality? Then a targeted test will help to clarify the open questions before procurement.

We agree with you on which question is to be answered and how deep the investigation must go. A single workshop or camera check can already be the right starting point for this.

What we check for you.

These modules can be part of your project individually or in combination. We determine the scope together before the start.

Use-Case-Workshop

We define the desired detection: which event counts, who needs the notification, and what reaction should follow? We also record situations that should not trigger an alarm.

Camera assessment

We check the fields of view, lighting, resolution, and hidden areas of your cameras. This makes it clear which image sources are suitable and where positions or settings need to be adjusted.

Data and model test

We compare suitable models based on representative recordings. This includes typical situations and difficult borderline cases. We evaluate recognition quality and false alarms according to agreed criteria.

Target architecture

We plan where the analysis runs and how results reach your systems. For this, we check computing power, network, storage, and interfaces to your video management system or your specialised applications.

Risk and data protection

We clarify data access, retention periods, and requirements for the processing location. Additionally, we consider outages, fault messages, and responsibilities in operation. We involve your data protection office if necessary.

Effort and Cost-effectiveness

We estimate the need for hardware, licences, integration, and ongoing support. We compare this effort against the expected benefit and consider a possible expansion to additional locations.

From initial consultation to evaluation.

A technical feasibility assessment follows four steps. You contribute your process knowledge; we carry out the agreed reviews and tests.

Joint workshop on feasibility: understand the process and camera zone on the site model
01

Define the brief

In the initial meeting, we agree on the question, scope of examination, participants, and success criteria. Afterwards, both sides know what answer the project should deliver.

02

Prepare material

Together we select suitable recordings and capture the existing systems. We clarify data access and complement missing examples for the test.

Validate recognition models with different perspectives and lighting conditions
03

Run tests

We carry out the agreed tests and document hits, error messages, and limits. We discuss any open points with your subject-matter experts.

Evaluate target architecture, test results, and the next project step
04

Discuss results

We explain the findings in a final review. You then decide whether and how the project should proceed.

This is what you take away from the project.

The documents you receive depend on the agreed assignment. For a comprehensive feasibility check, these include:

Assessment Report

Documented test results, evaluation criteria, and technical limits. You will also receive our recommendation with the assumptions on which it is based.

Technical target image

An overview of the intended components, data paths, and integrations. It shows which existing technology will continue to be used and what would need to be added.

Plan for the next step

For a pilot recommendation: a defined test scope, required data and resources, and acceptance criteria. If we recommend not proceeding: the reasons and the conditions for reassessment later.

Which platform fits your task?

The platform choice follows the requirements from consulting. Depending on the task, SynaEYE, SynaHUB, Vaidio, or a combination may be considered.

Operational video analytics

Continuous AI video analytics for live camera streams

SynaEYE continuously analyses existing cameras in real time and combines detection, event logic, alerts, tracking and forensics in a European edge AI platform.

The right choice if you:
want to monitor security, safety or operational processes continuously with your cameras and process detected events immediately.

Job-based Visual AI

Visual AI for freely defined inspection tasks

SynaHUB turns a visual question into an automated AI job. A camera, API or schedule supplies the image, a VLM evaluates the situation and returns a structured result.

The right choice if you:
want to inspect conditions, references, quality or individual visual questions without developing a separate analytics module for every task.

Enterprise platform

Enterprise AI Vision for particularly broad requirements

Vaidio is an established enterprise platform with an extensive catalogue of standardised video analytics, powerful forensic search and a broad integration ecosystem.

The right choice if you:
require a comprehensive standardised enterprise environment with a wide range of analysis, multi-site operation, and established VMS integrations.

Compare platforms

Questions before the project starts.

Do you already need training data?

Not necessarily. For an initial assessment, representative images or short video sequences from your environment are often sufficient. Whether additional data or individual training is required will result from testing existing models.

Can you continue using your existing cameras?

Often yes. Decisive are camera position, perspective, resolution, light, and the size of the relevant objects in the image. The stability and accessibility of the video stream also play a role.

What should you bring to the initial consultation?

A description of the problem and the desired outcome is sufficient for getting started. Additional helpful information includes details about cameras, existing systems, and typical situations. We will coordinate the secure exchange of image material with you afterwards.

Do you need to have chosen a platform?

No. You can start with an open question. We take existing licence agreements or technical requirements into account when selecting suitable solutions.

Can your existing systems be integrated?

That depends on the available interfaces and access rights. For example, we check the connection to your video management system, a control centre, or a specialised application based on the specific technical requirements.

How long does an assessment take?

This depends on the question, the available data and the depth of the assessment. A well-defined topic can often be evaluated in a few workshops. Technical tests require additional time. We agree the approach before the project starts.

Let’s discuss your question.

Tell us what you would like to see and where you are reaching your limits today. Together we will determine which entry makes sense for your project.
