Cybersecurity and
Data Sovereignty.
Stay in control.

Cybersecurity for Visual AI starts with your cameras and extends to the people and systems that use the results.

We check access, data paths, and technical vulnerabilities. Together with your IT and data protection officers, we implement the agreed protection measures.

Limit access and technical attack surfaces
Trace processing locations and data paths
Document and check protective measures

Where are you lacking an overview?

Do you want to know who can access video data, which systems communicate externally, or where recordings and metadata are stored?

We make these paths visible and prioritise the technical risks. The review can concern an existing installation or the design of a new platform.

Which areas we secure.

The measures are based on the protection requirements, the technology used, and your operating model. Your responsible teams are involved in decisions and approvals.

Protection needs and risks

We record relevant data, actors, and system boundaries. Possible misuse and failure scenarios are assessed and prioritised according to their importance for your operation.

Identities and Rights

We set up roles and separate service accounts according to the required access. Supported multi-factor authentication and the handling of privileged accounts are taken into account.

Networks and system access

We check reachable services, network segments, and administration paths. Unnecessary access is restricted; authorised connections and remote maintenance paths are documented.

Data paths and storage

We clarify processing locations, external connections, storage periods, and deletion procedures. Encryption, masking, and data minimisation are used appropriately according to function and protection requirements.

Logging and Reporting

We determine which accesses and security-relevant changes must be traceable. Appropriate logs and reporting channels are set up with access rights and retention rules.

System hardening and updates

We check configurations, hosts, containers, and relevant dependencies. Shared settings and update procedures are recorded as a verifiable basis for operation.

From risk to verified action.

We coordinate the examination with IT, information security, and data protection. The scope of the audit and the affected systems are determined before the start.

Record inventory and data

Together we collect system overviews, access paths, and specifications. Missing information and responsible contacts are identified for further review.

02

Prioritise measures

We explain the risks found and suggest appropriate controls. Your managers decide on the sequence, operational interruptions, and remaining risks.

Set up protection

We implement the approved changes and check their impact. Accesses and necessary workflows are tested together with the teams involved.

04

Hand over records

Test results, settings, and open issues are documented. We agree on who will check controls in the future and how to respond to security notifications.

Records for your responsible teams.

The handover shows the implemented controls and remaining tasks to the agreed extent.

Risk and action overview

Prioritised findings with assigned measures. Implementation status, open issues, and the responsible teams are recorded in a traceable manner.

Documented security configuration

Released settings, roles, data paths, and network boundaries. It serves as a basis for changes and subsequent reviews.

Control and Response Plan

Defined inspection tasks, relevant protocols, and reporting channels. Your teams know which records need to be maintained and which events should be communicated.

Which platform fits your task?

We examine the functions used and the specific operating model of SynaEYE, SynaHUB, or Vaidio. The decisive factors are the actual data paths, accesses, and settings of your installation.

Operational video analytics

Continuous AI video analytics for live camera streams

SynaEYE continuously analyses existing cameras in real time and combines detection, event logic, alerts, tracking and forensics in a European edge AI platform.

The right choice if you:
want to monitor security, safety or operational processes continuously with your cameras and process detected events immediately.

Job-based Visual AI

Visual AI for freely defined inspection tasks

SynaHUB turns a visual question into an automated AI job. A camera, API or schedule supplies the image, a VLM evaluates the situation and returns a structured result.

The right choice if you:
want to inspect conditions, references, quality or individual visual questions without developing a separate analytics module for every task.

Enterprise platform

Enterprise AI Vision for particularly broad requirements

Vaidio is an established enterprise platform with an extensive catalogue of standardised video analytics, powerful forensic search and a broad integration ecosystem.

The right choice if you:
require a comprehensive standardised enterprise environment with a wide range of analysis, multi-site operation, and established VMS integrations.

Compare platforms

Questions before the project starts.

Can the processing take place completely locally?

If the platform, features, and infrastructure are designed for it, local operation is possible. We also check external connections, for example for updates, licensing, or support. The storage location alone does not yet describe all data paths.

What does data sovereignty mean in your project?

You determine where data is processed, who has access, and how storage, export, and deletion are carried out. The technical implementation and the agreed responsibilities are documented.

Does local operation automatically make the solution GDPR-compliant?

No. Purpose, legal basis, necessary scope, and organisational processes must also fit. We support the technical implementation. The legal assessment and approval are carried out by your responsible authorities.

Are masked recordings automatically anonymous?

This depends on whether a person can still be identified using reasonably available means. Masking can reduce identifiability, but linkable metadata and accessible original recordings must also be considered.

How do we support projects in the EU and Switzerland?

We coordinate the technical measures with your data protection officers. For EU projects, the GDPR and relevant European guidelines serve as the reference point. For Swiss locations, the applicable local regulations are also taken into account.

Do you receive a certification with the service?

The service provides the agreed technical measures and evidence. Certification or legal approval is not associated with this. Required external tests and their scope must be specified separately.

Let us make your data paths traceable.

Show us your installation and the open security issues. Together we will determine which systems and access points should be checked first.
