How is the Vaidio AI Vision Platform provided?
The Vaidio AI Vision Platform is provided as a software platform and can be obtained either as a perpetual purchase license or under a subscription model. With the purchase license, the software is bought once and operated on your own infrastructure. Operation, maintenance, and updates are fully handled by the operator. Under the subscription model, deployment can be either on-premises or in the cloud. In this case, operation will be handled by Synaedge, including monitoring, updates, and support. This allows you to choose between full self-responsibility or a managed solution, depending on your requirements and resources.
Can Vaidio be integrated into existing infrastructures?
Vaidio is not operated as a separate system alongside existing security technology, but is specifically integrated into existing structures. Existing components remain in place and are expanded with AI-based analysis and automated evaluation. This means there is no additional effort caused by system changes, but rather an extension of the existing infrastructure with intelligent functions.
Existing cameras
Vaidio uses existing IP cameras and processes their video streams in real time. Existing camera installations remain in place and are specifically enhanced with AI-based analysis.
Video Management Systems (VMS)
Integration into existing VMS enables detected events to be displayed directly in the familiar system. Operation and existing processes remain unchanged, while analysis is expanded in the background.
Security services and control centers
Detected events can be automatically forwarded to existing security services or control rooms. Alerts integrate into existing processes and are handled there as usual.
Third-party software and systems
Vaidio can be connected to additional systems, for example access control systems, alarm management platforms as well as HR, ERP, or industry-specific software solutions. Integration is done via standardized interfaces such as REST APIs. Detected events can be passed directly into existing systems and processed further there. This makes information from video analytics part of existing processes without additional manual steps.
Building technology and automation
Vaidio can be integrated into existing building technology and automation systems. Detected events can be used to trigger automated processes, for example in access control, lighting, or other technical systems.
