Visitor flows
Identify high densities, directions of movement and congestion in defined areas.

Protect guests, employees, buildings and event areas without having to observe any camera manually. Synaedge connects your existing cameras with automatic event detection, visual control jobs and your existing security and operating systems.
Direct answer
With visual AI, you can automatically evaluate the images of your existing cameras for security, visitor flow management, building operation and incident investigation. You recognise people, vehicles, objects, movements and visible hazardous situations in defined areas and provide relevant events directly to your responsible teams.
With SynaHUB, you can also automate recurring visual controls: Instead of checking regularly manually check entrances, escape routes, barriers, event spaces or service areas, allow the visible status to be documented by camera and receive a targeted message in the event of deviations.
Identify high densities, directions of movement and congestion in defined areas.
Identify possible conflicts, visible weapons, falls and fire events early.
Monitor access, outdoor areas, security zones and temporarily unstaffed areas.
Automate and document recurring visual controls.
Applications for leisure and entertainment
Depending on your task, we combine object recognition, tracking, zone rules, time conditions and information from your existing security systems. We validate every application area with your real camera scenes, typical visitor movements and operational borderline cases.
Identify high personal densities, congestion and movement directions in defined areas and support your teams in visitor guidance.
View application areaCapture occupancy, licence plates, parking times, intakes and exits as well as violations of your operational rules.
View application areaIdentify people or vehicles in defined outdoor areas and evaluate events by zone, direction, time and time of residence.

View application areaSynaHUB · visual inspection tasks
You have to manually check many visible states before opening, before an event, after closing or after an event. With SynaHUB, you run such controls as documented inspection tasks without having to permanently analyse any camera stream.
Job-based visual AI
You determine when a camera is created by creating a current image and which question should be answered. A Vision Language Model evaluates the visible state. You will receive a documented result, which can be passed directly to your intended process.
Priorized safety analyses
Use your camera infrastructure to target visible weapons, possible violence, eye-catching face discoveries and fallen people.

Detect visible firearms and static weapons in appropriate camera images and prioritise the situation for immediate human verification. Covered weapons and the intention of a person cannot be derived from the image.

Detect eye-catching movement and interaction patterns that indicate a possible physical altercation and provide the scene to your security team for quick scrutiny.

Detect balaclavas, ski masks and other eye-catching facial coverings at entrances and in defined safety areas. The analysis evaluates visible features in the intended context without identifying a person.

Recognise typical movements or people lying on the ground over a defined period of time and support a quick human review and assistance.
From camera view to security process
A detection or visual inspection will only support you in operation when the result arrives with the correct context in your intended system.
01Have your existing IP cameras, access cameras and other suitable image sources technically checked.
02Have security-relevant areas continuously analyse or specifically control individual images.
03Supplement zone, time, permission, building, object and other operating information.
04Pass results to your VMS, PSIM, your access control, your security control, your building management or your own applications.
Selected fields of application
The technical basis is comparable in all six fields of application. However, which analyses are useful and permissible for you depends on your premises, the number of visitors, the operating model, the risk profile and the legal framework.
Platforms and deployment
Depending on your task, you will receive your own Synaedge platform, established enterprise technology or a combined architecture.
Operational video analyticsSynaEYE continuously analyses existing cameras in real time and combines detection, event logic, alerts, tracking and forensics in a European edge AI platform.
The right choice if you:
want to monitor security, safety or operational processes continuously with your cameras and process detected events immediately.
Job-based visual AISynaHUB turns a visual question into an automated AI job. A camera, API or schedule supplies the image, a VLM evaluates the situation and returns a structured result.
The right choice if you:
want to inspect conditions, references, quality or individual visual questions without developing a separate analytics module for every task.
Enterprise platformVaidio is an established enterprise platform with an extensive catalogue of standardised video analytics, powerful forensic search and a broad integration ecosystem.
The right choice if you:
need a large, standardised enterprise environment with extensive analytics, multi-site operation and established VMS integrations.
You operate the processing according to your security, latency and privacy requirements on-premises, on edge systems, hybrid, or in a private cloud environment.
Compare platformsLimits of visual AI
You will receive an automatic evaluation of visible information within the camera view with visual AI. However, the technology does not replace your access control systems or burglar alarm systems, fire alarm systems, security teams or organisational safety measures.
For locations in the EU form the GDPR, especially Art. 5, 6, 25 and 35 and the EDSA video surveillance guidelines the basis of the privacy audit. In addition, consider the law of the respective Member State, in particular employee data protection and co-determination. The duties from the EU AI Act check for the concrete use of AI.
Frequently Asked Questions
In many projects yes. The image quality and perspective of your cameras, available interfaces, network access and the suitability of the respective scene for your desired analysis are decisive.
No. They can limit continuous analyses to safety-related areas. For recurring visual inspections, you have SynaHUB evaluate individual images at set times or by events.
You can use the same technical platform. However, we adapt rules, object classes, alarm paths, authorisations and operating models to your respective environment.
It cannot guarantee prevention. It can detect visible weapons and possible violent situations in appropriate cameras, thereby supporting faster human assessment and reaction.
Not always. Covering, perspective, lighting and crowd density influence the recognition quality. For crowd management, therefore, density, movement flow and changes within defined areas are often the focus.
Not necessary. You can implement many applications with anonymous personal and object recognition. We only use identification procedures if they are necessary, technically intended and legally permitted for your task.
Yes. You can transfer results to VMS, PSIM, access control, building management, control centres or your own applications, depending on your existing architecture.
Yes. You can operate the processing on-premises, on edge systems, hybrid, or in a private cloud environment, depending on your needs.
