Vaidio’s object left behind detection automatically detects unattended items in monitored areas. If an object is left behind and the associated person moves away, an alarm can automatically be triggered after a defined period of time.

If an object is placed in a defined area and no person remains in the immediate vicinity afterwards, the system recognizes the item as unattended. The time period after which an object is considered abandoned can be individually defined.
