With object tracking, counting and motion analysis, Vaidio’s AI video analytics detects how objects move through monitored areas. The analysis is not limited to people or vehicles. It works with all detected object types, for example also with pallets. This enables automatic analysis of movement patterns, material flows and dwell times.

The following four analysis functions form the basis of this intelligent motion and object analysis.
The AI detects an object in the camera image and tracks it across multiple image sequences. This makes it visible which path an object takes and how it moves through an area.
Objects are counted when they cross a defined line in the camera image. This allows precise measurement of how many objects enter or leave an area.
The AI measures how long an object remains in a specific area. If an object remains longer than defined, an event or alarm can be triggered automatically.
The system also detects directions of movement of objects and can report if an object moves against a defined direction.
