The scene change detection of Vaidio automatically detects when the image of a camera changes significantly. This can happen, for example, when a tree falls, water levels rise, objects are removed or added, or the environment changes unexpectedly. The analysis is particularly suitable for industrial facilities, outdoor areas of buildings, storage areas, or nature and flood monitoring.

The AI first creates a reference model of the normal scene based on the camera images. It then continuously compares each new video image with this background model. If areas of the image change significantly, the system automatically detects a deviation. It can distinguish between small changes to individual objects and larger changes to entire areas of the image. Sensitivity, size of the change, and duration can be configured so that both short-term events and slowly developing changes are reliably detected.
