Vandalism detection with Vaidio detects deliberate damage not only after the fact, but already at the moment it occurs. The AI analyzes video streams in real time and identifies typical actions such as graffiti, hitting or kicking objects, the destruction of inventory, and tampering with doors, windows and technical systems.

How does vandalism detection work
Vaidio detects vandalism with different analysis methods depending on the deployment location. Scene Change Detection identifies changes to monitored areas, such as newly created graffiti. In addition, events can be defined directly via Natural Language Enhancement using text, for example „person sprays wall“. If such behavior is detected, the system automatically triggers an alarm.
What happens after detection?
After detection, the event is transmitted in real time as an alarm to defined recipients or a connected system. The incident can be examined immediately and the appropriate response initiated, such as notifying security services, authorities, or automated measures like lighting control or access control.
